Kia ora, My name is Suzanne.  I feel very privileged to be the Branch Coordinator for Christchurch.

Having recently retired from the hustle and bustle of running and owning my own business, I was in a position to consider the next part of my journey.

Growing up, my parents were an incredible influence dedicating their lives to community service, and their passion for helping others left an indelible mark on my life.  Their dedication to making a difference in the community influenced my values profoundly, and I realized that after retiring from my business life, I wanted to continue with their legacy.

I heard about Bellyful and their work, and it felt like the perfect fit.

Being Branch Coordinator is an incredible learning experience, and I’m continually inspired by the dedication and warmth of the Bellyful team of volunteers.

So, from the world of business ownership to the world of Bellyful, my journey is one of growth, adaptation, and a whole lot of heart.  It’s a journey that reminds me every day of the incredible strength and kindness that exists within our community.  I’m excited to continue this chapter and to help make a positive impact in our Christchurch community.
